Advanced Practice Chiropractic Care
Acute and Chronic Pain Management
Keep yourself and your loved ones healthy! We are an Advanced Practice Chiropractic Clinic and offer more services than a general chiropractor. Our foremost goal is to find a quick resolution to a recent injury or a flair-up of a chronic condition. Dr. Hobson uses a combination of adjustment techniques for treatment of spine, pelvis and extremity misalignment. We offer in-office therapies including ultrasound, E-stim, and mechanical traction. We allow patients to bring in their own CBD oil (which must be THC free) to use with the therapeutic ultrasound.
In certain cases, we provide non-narcotic prescription medications or pain management injections of natural substances. At Healing Happens NM, our friendly and experienced staff will make sure you always feel comfortable and well-informed of the treatment options available for your condition.
Specialty Care
Pregnancy and Pediatric Care
Our practice focus is on Women's Health and Pediatrics. Dr. Hobson has an excellent working relationship with area medical providers. Approximately 60% of our new patients are referred from OB or Midwifery practices. We treat moms for pain related to body changes and stresses of pregnancy. We also correct misalignment of the pelvis to help with baby positioning and delivery.
Dr. Hobson treats kids for a variety of injuries, including those from sports, heavy backpacks, and repetitive stress from electronic usage. We treat babies too! Dr. Hobson performs cranial manipulations for misshapen skulls- flat spots or ridges. She also works on facial bones and the TMJ of babies after revision of a lip-tie or tongue-tie.

At Healing Happens NM, a Nutritional Consultation begins with a physical exam, review of current supplements and past lab results- if available. Dr. Hobson may send you for additional blood work for a more complete clinical picture. Our personalized Nutritional Consultations provide patients with the resources they need to get their health on track — you’ll leave our clinic well informed and confident that your health is in good hands.

Advanced Practice Chiropractor
Dr. Laura Hobson, DC-APC has been in private practice since 2002. She completed specialty training through the ICPA in Chiropractic for Pediatrics in 2001. Dr. Hobson received her Advanced Practice license in 2010. Her favorite part of practice is collaborating with other medical providers and being on the healthcare team that helps New Mexico families grow.
Dr. Hobson enjoys outdoor activities like hiking in the foothills of Albuquerque, the Santa Fe National Forest and Colorado with her family. She is married with one son.
